APT’s BACS Bureau Service

APT is an accredited BACS Bureau and has been established since 1981. Our Bureau Service offers an easy and effective way to make regular or ad hoc payments and to collect direct debits. In addition to providing a BACS accredited Bureau Service, APT is also a BACS Approved Software Supplier for BACSTEL-IP. The Bureau naturally uses our own approved software for its operation, making us proficient in all technical and administrative aspects of the BACS service.

Online Bureau Service

  • Your file can be uploaded by logging in to our Bureau OnLine Service through our website www.aptbacs.co.uk. Files must arrive at least three working days prior to the payment/collection date.
  • A notification is automatically generated and faxed to APT with details of the file submitted for processing with email confirmation returned to you.
  • After the file has been processed, you will be notified that a Pre-Submission listing is available to be downloaded from our Bureau OnLine Service.
  • An invoice for the processing run/s will be emailed to you.
