Unique to APT’s BACSTEL-iP software:
In addition to providing the mandatory functions of BACSTEL-iP, iConnect offers two other special features:

ICheck – Automatically checks and flags any new or amended sort codes or account numbers within a file that has been entered into iConnect for processing. These additions or amended records can therefore be verified prior to transmission.

ISCD – This uses the Industry Sort Code Directory database to identify invalid sort codes or account numbers in a file. This is especially useful for Direct Debit collection as it will highlight any keying errors prior to a file being transmitted to BACS.
