We are members of the Open Banking network and actively embrace opportunities that improve payment processes for our customers.
We have already created a hybrid Open Banking solution for Direct Debit sign up using “account Information Services” (AIS). We will soon be able to offer alternatives to making direct payments via Payment Initiation Services (PIS). This will offer a faster and alternative solution for Direct Credits and Faster Payments.

Account Information Services (AIS)
Reduce fraud with our new and unique account information services driven Direct Debit sign up. This open banking hybrid of the traditional sign-up process gives you extra peace of mind. The person signing up for the DD has to be able verify they own the bank account they wish to make the payments from so they can’t enter someone else’s details.
Furthermore, the sign up is seamless automatically assigning the account number and sort code to the mandate removing any possibility for errors.
